Wrestling is one of the most demanding, yet rewarding sports high school has to offer. It is the one sport that anyone can compete in regardless of size. The NCHSAA created 14 weight classes for high school wrestling: 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, and 285 lbs. It is one of the few sports where you are always matched up with an opponent of equal size and the winner is the wrestler who refuses to give up. There is no better feeling than to have your hand raised as the victor after a match.
